MotorSaver versendete diese Filter im Vorserienprogramm an viele erfahrene Profi-RC-Rennfahrer. Hier ein Statement von Otto Alison, dem Besitzer von Alison Offroad RC Raceway in Littlerock, Arkansas: "Die Filter verrichteten Ihre Aufgabe noch besser als wir ohnehin schon angenommen hatten.... ...wir bekamen über den gesamten Leistungsbereich hinaus eine deutliche Leistuungssteigerung mit diesem Filter. Diese Filter wurden entwickelt um selbst in feinen,
staubigen Umgebungen das Maximum an Filtration und Leistungsausbeute zu
erreichen.
Nur der innere Filter ist geölt, der äußere nicht, um ein
Verkleben zu verhindern.

This
RC air filter runs longer between cleaning and has higher airflow than any
filter we have tested.
Motor Saver gave out air filters to RC racers all
over the world for six months of testing before putting this filter on the
market.
We received a call about this new 1/8 scale off-road RC air
filter from Otto Alison, owner of Alison Off-road RC Raceway in Littlerock,
Arkansas. " We found the filter worked better than we thought it
would. We got a full minute more of run time. We also noticed that
we needed to richen up the carb. We got better overall performance with
this filter. The filter did not have any dirt in the inside foam after
running all day. We have a groomed track which we keep wetted
down."
This RC air filter comes without oil on the outer foam element and
pre-oiled inner element.
Conditions for oiling outer white foam:
Track or field that has fine silt or clouds of fine powdery type dirt you need
to oil the outer white element.
Check the inside foam element every two
tanks of gas. If, the inside foam at the bottom end where the hole is has
a dirt penetration of more than 1/8 inch, it is time to clean. If, you get
the 1/8 inch dirt penetration after just a few tanks of gas, you need to oil the
outer white foam element and clean the inner foam element.
Light powdery
dirt or hard packed clay conditions: We still check every two tanks of gas
until we see how fast the inside dirt ring is forming. Note: Motor
Saver runs two 1/8 buggies with lots of horsepower (Buggy and truck are
interchangeable except buggy cannot use 60° elbow). We can go all weekend
of racing in light dust conditions without cleaning the inside foam element or
oiling the outside white element.
